Relevance
This project examines the vital role of airfreight in the life sciences industry, particularly for transporting sensitive pharmaceutical products such as vaccines and biologics. North America and Europe serve as major production and export hubs, while regions like Sub-Saharan Africa and South America rely heavily on imports to meet essential healthcare needs. At the same time, air cargo facilitates the export of perishables—like fresh produce and flowers—from these importing regions back to global markets, supporting economic development and creating a reciprocal flow of goods.
Food & Farm for Health is a joint project Pharma.Aero & The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) and builds upon Pharma.Aero’s experience in executing collaborative initiatives within the global logistics and healthcare sectors. This project is initiated under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with three strategic partners TIACA, The Humanitarian Logistics Association (HLA) and The Cool Chain Association (CCA), reinforcing our commitment to fostering innovation in pharmaceutical and perishable logistics.
Specific Objectives

- Economic Impact Study
Additionally, regular activities of communication and dissemination will be carried out.
