VACSCENE – ISSUE 3 – JULY 2021

This third issue of the Pharma.Aero and TIACA VACscene newsletter reveals some interesting insights on the Covid-19 vaccination landscape; we saw a higher vaccination rate for countries with local Covid-19 vaccine production. On the other hand, many developing countries are still lagging. We also see a general slowdown in global vaccination. Europe has recently shown an increase in new infections, especially amongst the young population with the start of the summer holiday season. We also observed that the efficacy of some Covid-19 vaccines are lower than expected.
