OUT NOW | Pharmalytics, the new and exclusive Pharma.Aero quarterly report on global Life Sciences supply chain
Pharma.Aero has just released the first edition of Pharmalytics – an exclusive quarterly report offering curated knowledge and in-depth market insights into key trends, ecosystem strategies, and innovations shaping the global pharmaceutical logistics landscape. This new initiative aims to support logistics executives and enable companies that are members of Pharma.Aero to make informed decisions that will optimise their supply chains.
The quarterly reports focus on
- Data & analytics on global product flows through major airports and maritime ports
- Key insights on supply chain trends, including sustainability, innovation, and regulatory shifts
- Updates on new product designs and their impact on logistics
- A detailed overview of ecosystem developments, including partnerships, digital transformation, and CSR
Pharmalytics reflect both current trends and future developments, providing companies with the foresight needed to adapt to a rapidly evolving landscape. In addition to production and logistics data, Pharmalytics will also take a deep dive into ecosystem analysis. Frank Van Gelder, Secretary General of Pharma.Aero, highlights how the report aims to map out evolutions in the supply chain, considering external factors such as the shift from specialised centres to home care. “We’re seeing a trend where patient care is moving to home settings, which means we need to rethink logistics strategies, possibly even integrating e-commerce models into pharmaceutical deliveries,” said Van Gelder in an interview with Air Cargo Week.
The reports will also focus on innovative trends, including the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on supply chains. “AI is a buzzword, but it’s often misunderstood. We don’t want to overestimate its power, but it’s important to evaluate its role in the future of logistics. Pharmalytics will provide data on how AI might transform the supply chain, but without getting caught up in the hype”, posed Van Gelder.
The first edition of Pharmalytics has been shared exclusively with Pharma.Aero members and partners. For more information on Pharma.Aero membership and benefits, go to our Pharma.Aero Community page.
