Osaka and Kyoto will be the Hosts of the 2025 Pharma Logistics Masterclass (16 – 19 September)

Pharma.Aero and the University of Antwerp officially announced that the fifth edition of the Pharma Logistics Masterclass (PLMC) will take place in Osaka and Kyoto, from 16 to 19 September 2025. Japan was chosen as the perfect destination given its important role in the Life Sciences and MedTech supply chain industry.

Japan is in the world’s top five pharmaceutical markets, renowned for its high-value and chronic care medicines R&D platforms, and large number of blue-chip pharmaceutical companies. Furthermore, Japan will be the host of World Expo 2025. With a focus on life sciences, the upcoming Expo will highlight Japan’s forward-thinking role in healthcare.

The 2025 Pharma Logistics Masterclass will be organized by Pharma.Aero and the University of Antwerp in cooperation with Pharma.Aero members, Kansai International Airport (KIX), All Nippon Airways and Nippon Express Group. The local partner university is Kyoto University – the Graduate School of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine. A selection of Japanese universities will contribute to the academic part of the PLMC program.

The 2025 Masterclass curriculum will be built on the major takeaways of the 2024 PLMC edition in Dallas Fort Worth. The registrations will open soon.
