Founding member MVD Free Airport expands and reconverts into LACC – Latin America Cargo City

The company formerly known as MVD Free Airport is reconverting and revamping its value proposition to best fit the individual needs of the global manufacturers and distributors in the pharmaceutical industry, amongst others.

LACC Managing Director, Bruno Guella

“The significant growth that we have experienced in terms of client base and service offering required a brand that could accurately convey this new positioning. The feedback we have received from clients and prospects helped us identify the necessity to enable new businesses through long-term infrastructure investments under a unique tax-exempt framework inside the Montevideo International Airport. This will now allow them to structure their own, fully operated set-up in addition to plugging in to LACC’s full range of pharma warehousing and conditioning services.”

The only multimodal logistics-free zone in the region within airport premises converts into LACC – Latin America Cargo City.

“We aim to consolidate our role as the leading distribution platform in the region, enhancing new capabilities that allow current and potential new tenants to take advantage of the opportunity of setting up their distribution centers for air, sea and land freight under a 24/7 365 days operation. This provides the necessary adaptability to meet every client and industry-specific requirements.”

The company will continue to be a Strategic Member of Pharma.Aero, with Bruno Guella continuing in his role as Pharma.Aero Treasurer.
