Diego Martínez Joins Pharma.Aero Board of Directors, Representing Latin America Cargo City (LACC)

Oct 26, 2026

Diego Martínez, Head of Quality at Latin America Cargo City (LACC), has joined the Pharma.Aero Board of Directors, succeeding Bruno Guella, who represented LACC on the Board for more than seven years.
Diego brings nearly a decade of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and pharma logistics, with extensive expertise in quality assurance, regulatory compliance and risk management. His work connecting pharmaceutical companies, logistics partners and regulatory stakeholders has given him valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities facing life sciences supply chains in Latin America.

I am very proud to join the Pharma.Aero Board of Directors representing LACC and Uruguay. I see this role as an opportunity not only to contribute our experience from Latin America, but also to strengthen the connection between our region and the global life sciences supply chain.
I look forward to contributing a practical, quality-driven perspective to the Board, while helping build stronger bridges between airports, logistics providers, pharmaceutical companies, academia and public institutions.
Pharma logistics is increasingly global, interconnected and complex, and I believe Latin America has both valuable experience to contribute and enormous potential to further develop. I am looking forward to helping bring that perspective to Pharma.Aero.

Diego Martinez

Head of Quality, LACC

Diego succeeds Bruno Guella, who served on the Pharma.Aero Board of Directors for more than seven years, representing LACC. Throughout his tenure, Bruno contributed his time, expertise and commitment to advancing Pharma.Aero’s mission of bringing together stakeholders across the life sciences and MedTech supply chains. His involvement supported the organisation’s international growth, including the milestone of reaching 100 members in its tenth anniversary year.

For LACC – Latin America Cargo City, and for me personally, it has been an honor, a source of pride, and a great satisfaction to have been part of this organization and watched it grow so remarkably over its first decade.
Pharma.Aero has grown into an organization with a clear and meaningful purpose: uniting stakeholders across the Life Science and MedTech supply chain to co-create innovative, multimodal logistics solutions to help improve people’s health around the world.

Bruno Guella

Diego’s appointment marks a new chapter in this longstanding partnership, ensuring continued representation of LACC on the Board of Directors and reinforcing the connection between Latin America and Pharma.Aero’s global network of life sciences and MedTech logistics stakeholders.
