CALL FOR ABSTRACTS Pharma Logistics Masterclass 2024 Introduces Poster Presentations – Submissions Now Open
The Pharma Logistics Masterclass (PLMC) announces the introduction of Poster Presentations as a key feature of its 2024 edition. This addition aims to showcase innovative research in the field of Pharma Logistics, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among industry professionals and academics.
As the Chair of the PLMC, Prof. Roel Gevaers of the University of Antwerp expresses enthusiasm about this new opportunity for researchers to highlight their work: “The Poster Presentations at PLMC 2024 provide a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners to share their insights and discoveries with a diverse audience of industry experts and leaders. We believe this initiative will enrich the dialogue surrounding pharmaceutical logistics and contribute to advancements in the field.”
Call for Submissions
Researchers from academia and industry are invited to submit their research abstracts for consideration.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
- Optimization of pharmaceutical supply chains
- Economic implications of pharma logistics
- Innovative engineering solutions in pharmaceutical distribution
- Regulatory frameworks and compliance challenges in pharma logistics
- Sustainability and environmental considerations in pharmaceutical transportation
- Technology advancements and their impact on pharma logistics
- Risk management and resilience strategies in pharma supply chains
- Supply chain resilience and disruptions in the pharmaceutical industry
- Patient-centric approaches to pharma logistics
- Data analytics and forecasting in pharmaceutical distribution
Submissions should adhere to the following guidelines:
– Abstracts should be concise, no more than 500 words, and include objectives, methodology, results, and implications.
– Deadline for submission: June 1st, 2024, 5 pm CET

**Selection Process**
All submitted abstracts will undergo a thorough review process by the PLMC Scientific Board. Criteria for evaluation include relevance, originality, methodological rigor, and contribution to the field of Pharma Logistics. Authors of the top 15 abstracts will be notified of their selection by June 15th, 2024, 5 pm CET.
