May 29, 2026

Air Cargo Belgium has joined the Pharma.Aero global community, bringing extensive expertise in cargo community development, operational excellence, and stakeholder collaboration from one of Europe’s leading pharmaceutical logistics hubs. This collaboration further strengthens ongoing efforts to enhance healthcare supply chain connectivity, service quality, and innovation across the life sciences ecosystem.

Air Cargo Belgium is the representative organisation of the air cargo community at Brussels Airport, working to foster collaboration, operational efficiency, sustainability, digital connectivity, and long-term industry development across the cargo value chain. By bringing together airlines, handlers, freight forwarders, logistics providers, and other stakeholders, the organisation supports transparent, safe, efficient, and customer-oriented supply chain flows while promoting the competitiveness of the Brussels cargo ecosystem.

Joining Pharma.Aero represents an important step in strengthening the global connectivity of the Brussels air cargo community. Through this reciprocal partnership, we aim to create stronger synergies between local expertise and international collaboration platforms, while further reinforcing Brussels’ position as a leading European hub for Life Sciences and MedTech logistics. We also look forward to contributing together to strategic initiatives that drive innovation, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence across the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Air Cargo Belgium’s commitment to collaboration closely aligns with Pharma.Aero’s mission of advancing Life Sciences and MedTech logistics through cross-industry cooperation. Over the past years, the two organisations have already worked together through several industry initiatives, creating a strong foundation for future engagement.

Most recently, Air Cargo Belgium and Pharma.Aero have joined forces within a collaborative project exploring the future logistics and handling requirements of precision therapies. As these highly specialised and patient-centric treatments continue to evolve, the project aims to better understand the operational, infrastructure, and quality requirements needed to support their safe and reliable transportation.

By joining Pharma.Aero, Air Cargo Belgium further expands its engagement with the global healthcare logistics community, contributing valuable operational insights and strengthening collaboration between industry stakeholders working to advance the future of pharmaceutical supply chains.
