Project purpose
The project addresses the growing need for smarter, more resilient pharmaceutical supply chains by leveraging IoT and AI technologies. As the industry evolves, integrating predictive insights and end-to-end visibility is essential to proactively manage risks, reduce costs, and enhance sustainability. This approach ensures the project remains highly relevant to current industry demands for transparency, efficiency, and adaptability in Life Science & Healthcare Logistics.
Project objective(s)
This Pharma.Aero initiative builds on the previous project “Innovation in Motion”, exploring the applicability of next-generation digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain Technology, big data analytics along the end-to-end supply chain of Life Science and MedTech industries.
The primary goal of the current project, “IoT Devices and Platforms in Healthcare Logistics”, is to further explore and seek to leverage the use of next-generation IoT devices to improve healthcare logistics.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The three core WPs will follow sequentially from diagnosis and needs assessment in WP1, followed by the collection of use cases in WP2 and awareness and training in WP3.
Once the project is completed, a Final Report will be prepared exclusively for Pharma.Aero members, capturing the detailed findings and take aways. A high-level White Paper will be shared with the industry, in the spirit of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
