New Release: White Paper of the 2022 Pharma Logistics Masterclass in Abu Dhabi

Pharma.Aero and the University of Antwerp have just released the highly anticipated White Paper summarizing the insights and key takeaways of the 2022 Pharma Logistics Masterclass held in Abu Dhabi. Over 120 business executives, industry experts, international academics and policymakers gathered for the 5-day learning program of lectures, industry use cases, workshops and industry-related site visits.

The 5-day Pharma Logistics Masterclass represents a special opportunity for industry professionals to gain more in-depth knowledge, as well as for academics and PhD students to obtain advanced insights into how pharmaceutical supply chains are organized and logistics processes are optimized through applied technology for the pharma and life science sector.

The 2022 edition was a unique international joint initiative of HOPE Consortium and Khalifa University of Science and Technology (UAE), the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and Pharma.Aero. With the full support and active contribution of the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH), the collaboration brought together industry professionals, policymakers, international experts and academics representing 50 pharma supply and manufacturing companies, 5 world-renowned universities and government authorities from the United Arab Emirates and Belgium.

The International Pharma Logistics Masterclass was founded by Pharma.Aero the University of Antwerp and METRANS, in 2021, to foster collaboration and connect the current industry business models and strategies with academics modelling and data analytics for a well-prepared logistics and supply chain. The first edition of the PLMC was hosted by the University of Antwerp in September 2021.
